About Ababil Foundation
We are a non-profit organization committed to creating positive change and improving the lives of underprivileged communities throughout Bangladesh. Our official journey began in 2022, however our journey of serving the community began back in 2013, driven by a passion to enhance the quality of life for those in need.
Throughout the year we undertake special projects — installing tube wells for clean water in rural areas, providing shelter to the homeless, offering treatment to distressed patients, supporting street children with food and education, distributing winter clothes, and organizing Iftar during Ramadan. We currently work with hundreds of dedicated volunteers, from our head office in Dhaka and two regional offices in Kaliganj (Jhenaidah) and Nilphamari, covering the south and north of Bangladesh.

Mr. Anwarul Islam is the visionary founder and CEO of Ababil Foundation Bangladesh. With a deep belief in the inherent right to quality education, healthcare, and economic opportunity, he has been instrumental in driving the foundation’s mission to empower the underprivileged.
As a renowned entrepreneur and member of the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce (DCC), Mr. Islam brings a wealth of business acumen and experience to his role. His successful ventures — including REGENT Hair, ANNEX Cargo, Ababil Travels, and AL-AMAL AL-Qaryat Trading Co. L.L.C., among other international companies — reflect his commitment to excellence and innovation.
Recognized nationally and internationally, Mr. Islam has received numerous awards for his outstanding contributions to entrepreneurship and business. Under his leadership, Ababil Foundation Bangladesh has grown into a leading force for social change, providing essential services and programs that uplift communities and transform lives across the country.
