Safe housing for families left with nowhere else to go.
Fires, floods, evictions and family breakdown leave people without a roof overnight. Our Shelter Home Complex provides temporary and, where needed, longer-term housing for widows, the elderly, and families displaced by disaster, along with basic furniture, bedding, and a safe communal kitchen.
Mission & Vision
Mission: To ensure that no family in our service area sleeps in the open after losing their home.
Vision: A permanent, expandable shelter complex that can absorb sudden spikes in demand after any disaster.
How This Program Works
- Intake: Families are referred by community leaders, local government, or our own field team.
- Placement: Verified families are placed in available rooms with basic essentials provided.
- Transition support: Our team helps families find longer-term housing or income so the shelter can serve the next family in need.
